The District Court is a limited jurisdiction court. The Court has jurisdiction of criminal misdemeanors, civil cases in which the amount in dispute is $25,000.00 or less, traffic violations, other civil infractions, landlord-tenant disputes, and small claims matters.

2. The amount you intend to pay

Speeding 1-5 mph over         $90.00

Speeding 6-10 mph over       $100.00

Speeding 11-15 mph over      $120.00

Speeding 16-20 mph over      $140.00

Speeding 21-25 mph over      $160.00

Seatbelt Violation                   $65.00

Child Restraint Violation        $85.00

Careless Driving                    $170.00

Disobey Stop Sign                $110.00

Disobey Traffic Signal            $110.00

Expired Registration              $80.00

Failed to Yield (Accident)       $125.00



OTHER PAYMENT INFORMATION

You may also pay your traffic ticket or court fines by check, or money order, made payable to: 84th District Court.  We also accept payment at the District Court Office by cash, check, or money order. 

You will need:
